VEVOR Launches New Chamber Vacuum Sealer with 2X Anti-Overflow Protection to Help Keep Food Fresher Longer

Introduced at IFA Berlin 2026, the new model combines staged liquid control, an ultra-deep vacuum and a wider final seal for holiday leftovers, meal prep and fresh catch.

HOUSTON, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Thanksgiving brings a food-storage challenge alongside the celebration: more leftovers, more wet foods and more portions that need to be packed quickly. A 2026 study published in Waste found that, among 437 U.S. Households that reported food discards during both Thanksgiving week 2025 and a non-holiday week in December 2025, self-reported food waste per person was 39% higher by weight during Thanksgiving week. Meat and fish waste was 84.5% higher.

For households portioning turkey, marinated meats, sauced dishes or seafood, the challenge is not simply removing air. As pressure falls, natural juices and marinades can move toward the bag opening, interrupting the cycle and forcing the user to stop, clean the sealing area and try again. That friction becomes more costly when several portions are waiting for the freezer.

VEVOR, a global home improvement brand, today announced the U.S. rollout of its new Chamber Vacuum Sealer, developed around that wet-food workflow. The model made its global preview at IFA Berlin 2026 and features FlavorKeep Technology, a coordinated system designed to control liquid movement, remove residual air and complete the package with a broader sealing surface.

Keep sauces and juices away from the seal

The first priority is to keep wet-food batches moving. Rather than using one uninterrupted pull, VEVOR’s 2X Anti-Overflow System applies staged vacuuming to better control how liquid rises as pressure changes. For holiday leftovers, marinades and freshly portioned meat or fish, the system is designed to reduce the need to pause, wipe the bag opening and restart the cycle. This staged approach is intended to make liquid-rich foods easier to manage than with a standard one-stage vacuum cycle.

Remove more residual air before freezer storage

Once the contents are under control, the machine moves to deeper air removal. According to VEVOR’s internal testing, the system can reach a vacuum level of up to -100 kPa and remove up to 99.85% of air under specified test conditions. For weekly meal prep, bulk grocery purchases and freezer-ready portions, that stage is intended to leave less residual air around the food before storage without asking the user to manage a separate process.

Finish with a wider sealing surface

The final step is designed for what happens after the bag leaves the machine. Frozen portions may be stacked, moved or pressed against other items, while bags holding sauces or natural juices place added demands on the closure. VEVOR uses an 8 mm sealing band—33% wider than on standard models—for 360° leak-proof protection. The design is intended to support more consistent closure and help reduce leak risk during handling and storage.

Together, the three stages give FlavorKeep Technology a clear role across the complete wet-food packaging process: manage liquid before it reaches the bag opening, reduce residual air around each portion and finish with a seal designed for storage. The same sequence applies whether a household is organizing Thanksgiving leftovers, preparing meals for the week, or dividing a bulk meat purchase.

That liquid-control approach matters beyond everyday kitchen use, too. Whether preparing sous vide meals, portioning bulk meat for the freezer, storing BBQ-ready cuts, or processing fresh catch after a successful hunt or fishing trip, users often work with foods containing marinades, sauces and natural juices that can complicate the sealing process. By managing liquid before air removal, VEVOR’s system is designed to help reduce sealing interruptions, from weekly meal prep to seasonal meat storage.

“Food preservation should work with the foods people actually prepare—not require them to avoid sauces, marinades or natural juices because the sealing process cannot keep up,” said Gavin Wu, Brand Director at VEVOR. “Our goal is to bring professional-level performance to everyday kitchens and outdoor harvest routines, helping more people portion and store food with confidence, from weekly meal prep to a fresh catch after a day of fishing.”
