Working with the American Logistics Aid Network, TA Dedicated leverages its Minneapolis supply chain to move 14 pallets of air purifiers and filters to Duluth.
EAGAN, MN, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TA Dedicated, a Minnesota-headquartered transportation and supply chain solutions provider, has donated freight services to deliver 14 pallets of air purifiers and air filters to communities affected by the Northern Minnesota wildfires. The shipment, coordinated through the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), traveled approximately 2,000 miles from Cerritos, California to Duluth, Minnesota, where residents continue to face poor air quality conditions from ongoing wildfire smoke.
ALAN secured TA Dedicated’s donation with the help of the Minnesota Trucking Association, which circulated the nonprofit’s request for time-sensitive transportation assistance to its members. The request required confirmed carrier commitment within 24 hours. TA Dedicated responded the same day and immediately began coordinating logistics for the 8,960-pound load, which presented a unique delivery challenge: the destination facility in Duluth had no loading dock, requiring specialized liftgate equipment for offloading.
TA Dedicated coordinated the full-service move by drawing on capabilities that extend well beyond its core dedicated fleet operations. The company cross-docked the freight at its Minneapolis facility through Triangle Warehouse, a 900,000-square-foot warehousing and distribution hub the company acquired to expand its supply chain services in the Upper Midwest. The air purifiers were then transferred to a liftgate-equipped truck for the final leg to Duluth. The freight services were donated in full.
“When our neighbors need help, we show up. This community is home to our people, our facilities, and many of the companies we serve every day. When ALAN reached out through the Minnesota Trucking Association, our team had an answer within the hour,” said TA Dedicated president Eric Anson. “We have the assets, the warehouse capacity, and the operational flexibility to solve the kind of complex logistics challenges that come with disaster response, and we are glad we could put those resources to work for the people of northern Minnesota.”
ALAN is a nonprofit organization that mobilizes logistics industry resources to support disaster relief. The organization connects donated goods with transportation providers willing to move them at no cost, bridging a critical gap between supply and need in disaster-affected communities.
“We’ve often said that the logistics industry doesn’t just excel at delivering supplies, it excels at delivering compassion, and companies like TA Dedicated are living proof of that. They responded quickly, solved a difficult last-mile challenge with their liftgate capabilities and warehouse infrastructure, and delivered with care,” said ALAN executive director, Kathy Fulton. “Their willingness to donate these services from pickup in
California all the way to Duluth made a meaningful difference for families dealing with the health impacts of wildfire smoke. This is what community looks like.”
Founded and headquartered in Minnesota, TA Dedicated serves shippers across the country with a portfolio of solutions that combines dedicated contract carriage, freight brokerage, logistics engineering, and warehousing and distribution through Triangle Warehouse. The company operates more than 1,100 power units and manages over four million square feet of warehouse space across 14 locations. Its Minneapolis-area operations anchor a network built to solve complex supply chain challenges, including those that require rapid response under non-standard conditions.
