Autoptic Launches The Change Resilient Podcast, Exploring How People, Organizations, and Systems Thrive

Hosted by Autoptic Co-Founder & CEO Steve Semelsberger, The Change Resilient features conversations with global thought leaders working at the intersection of change and resilience—two forces that shape everything from production software systems and companies to biological ecosystems, social structures, and individual human lives.

The show takes an intentionally broad view of resilience, encompassing malleability, flexibility, adaptability and steadfastness. Likewise, change is examined in its many forms: intentional and unintentional, gradual and sudden, beneficial and disruptive. Guests will include authors, founders, CTOs, CEOs, researchers, professors, DevOps and SRE practitioners, open-source leaders, and others studying how complex systems actually behave.

The podcast extends ideas central to Autoptic’s work in Systems Change Resilience. But The Change Resilient podcast deliberately travels beyond software.

A recurring theme of the program is that resilience is not created by technology alone. Courtney Nash — Sociotechnical Systems and the Joy of Human Learning. Co-founder and CEO of The VOID and vice president of the Resilience in Software Foundation board, Nash brings together cognitive neuroscience, system safety, resilience engineering, and modern incident analysis to explore how humans learn when complex systems surprise us.
