MENLO PARK, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — HappyKids, Future Today’s premier ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) platform for kids and families, today announced that it has partnered with Major League Baseball (MLB) to bring MLB Clubhouse, MLB’s youth-focused digital content platform featuring original animated, educational and player driven programming, to HappyKids audiences. The deal marks HappyKids’ first partnership with a major sports league, giving young fans across the country a new home for MLB Clubhouse’s animated series, player storytelling, highlights and educational content.
Sports are having a moment in streaming, and kids are no exception. As families increasingly cut the cord in favor of free, ad-supported platforms, demand for premium, brand-safe sports content built specifically for young viewers has never been higher. This partnership brings together HappyKids’ reach among families with MLB’s commitment to growing the next generation of fans, connecting the platform’s audience with MLB’s stars, storytellers and iconic franchises. The partnership also builds on MLB’s continued momentum with younger audiences, including a 23% year over year increase among fans ages 2-11 across national broadcasts.
“HappyKids’ goal has always been to meet the demand of our audience and bring them the content they are looking to watch,” said David Di Lorenzo, SVP Content Acquisitions and Partnerships, Future Today. “This deal enhances our ability to bring content geared to kids along with highlights from Major League Baseball, a major sports league. Sports fandom starts young, and we want HappyKids to be the place where that fandom is born.”
Through the partnership, HappyKids will feature a curated slate of MLB Clubhouse programming, including original animated series, behind-the-scenes player features, game highlights, and creative and educational content designed to introduce baseball and softball to the next generation of fans.
“Reaching young fans means meeting them on the platforms where they already spend their time with their families,” said Gregg Klayman, SVP Product Development and Content Strategy, Major League Baseball. “Partnering with HappyKids allows us to put MLB Clubhouse in front of families in a trusted, co-viewing environment, extending the reach of our content well beyond our own channels and helping more households discover the fun, creativity and personalities that make baseball and softball unique.”
The partnership comes as HappyKids continues its rapid growth, with 85% of viewing driven by family co-viewing and more than 800 million monthly impressions, reflecting strong, repeat engagement across the platform. Bringing MLB Clubhouse to HappyKids gives that growing audience a new reason to tune in, while giving MLB a powerful new distribution partner built for family co-viewing.
MLB Clubhouse content will be available on HappyKids at happykids.tv beginning in August of 2026, with additional programming expected to roll out on an ongoing basis. Content will also be available across HappyKids apps on Roku, Fire TV, Samsung Plus TV, Vizio, LG and other major streaming devices. The partnership also reflects HappyKids’ broader ambitions in the sports space, as the platform looks to build on this collaboration with additional partnerships across major sports leagues in the months ahead.
